Our home base
SiteScapes Landcare is based in Bonita Springs. Landscape maintenance, HOA and commercial grounds care, sprinkler repair and landscape design for properties across the city.
Bonita Springs, Florida
Bonita Springs is where our routes start. Communities along Bonita Beach Road and Imperial Parkway, commercial properties on US 41, and older neighborhoods near Old 41 Road and the Imperial River each need a different kind of attention, and short drive times make it practical to give it.
Being local matters most when something breaks. A sprinkler zone that stops running or a controller left on the wrong schedule can brown a lawn within days in the dry season, and a crew that is already in the area can usually look at it the same week.
The city also sets its own landscape rules: a two-day watering schedule and a rainy-season fertilizer restriction that professional landscapers must follow. Our maintenance and irrigation work is planned around both.

Bonita Springs sets its own landscape rules. Here is what they mean for your lawn and beds.
Under city Ordinance 21-07, irrigation is limited to two days a week. Even-numbered addresses may water on Thursday and Sunday, odd-numbered addresses on Wednesday and Saturday, and not between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. New landscaping gets a 90-day establishment schedule, and reclaimed water and saltwater are exempt.
No fertilizer containing nitrogen or phosphorus may be applied from June 1 to September 30. At other times fertilizer must be at least 50% slow-release nitrogen, kept 10 feet from the top of bank of water bodies, seawalls and wetlands, and applied with a deflector shield. Professional landscapers register with the city every year.
The state has asked the city to reduce nitrogen reaching the Imperial River. Careful fertilizing, clean mulch edges and irrigation that does not run into the street all help keep nutrients out of the water.

From November to May the irrigation system does most of the work, so broken heads and stuck valves show up fast. From June to October growth speeds up, mowing frequency rises and controllers should be turned down to match the rain.
