Naples and North Naples
Residential and commercial landscape maintenance, estate care, irrigation repair and landscape design across Naples, from the beach neighborhoods to the communities of North Naples.
Naples, Florida
Naples properties ask a lot of a landscape. Beachfront and bayfront homes in Old Naples, Port Royal and Aqualane Shores face salt air and sandy soil, while communities further inland carry long hedges, lakes and large irrigation systems.
One detail catches many owners out: a Naples mailing address does not always mean the City of Naples. Pelican Bay and much of North Naples are unincorporated Collier County, which sets different fertilizer and irrigation rules. We confirm which rules apply to your property before setting a schedule.
Estate and community owners here often expect detailed care: pruning timed to the plant, clean bed edges, palms kept tidy and irrigation adjusted through the year. That is the work our maintenance programs are built around.

Inside city limits, the City of Naples sets these rules. Unincorporated Collier County addresses follow county rules instead.
Inside city limits, full irrigation is allowed three days a week: odd-numbered addresses on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, even-numbered addresses on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, between 12:01 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Hand watering with a self-closing nozzle is allowed from 5 to 7 p.m. The city also runs a reclaimed water system with its own hours.

The city does not allow fertilizer containing nitrogen or phosphorus from June 1 to September 30, or during severe weather advisories. Fertilizer must be at least 50% slow-release nitrogen, and no nitrogen may be applied before seeding or sodding or for 30 days after.

Unincorporated Collier County, which includes Pelican Bay, has no rainy-season fertilizer ban but requires at least 50% slow-release nitrogen, a 10-foot buffer from water and a soil test before applying phosphorus. Its rules do not apply inside the City of Naples or Marco Island.
Inside the city, a Tree Alteration Permit is required to alter or remove City trees and protected trees. Plan removals into a renovation before work starts.

Many Naples mailing addresses, including Pelican Bay and most of North Naples, are in unincorporated Collier County rather than the City of Naples. The difference changes fertilizer and irrigation rules, so we confirm it before scheduling work.
A landscape architect is a licensed professional who can prepare sealed plans for regulated projects. A landscape designer plans planting and layout for residential and maintenance work. Most bed renovations and replantings need design, not architecture; larger commercial or permitted projects may need an architect.
It depends on property size, visit frequency and what the scope includes. We walk the property, then send a written scope with pricing that lists inclusions and exclusions, so it is easy to compare with other proposals.
